Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. The new update is based on numerous minor improvements to the source code and GUI. The main one is the support for AMD Hudson-3/4 FCH SMBus tested on the HP ProBook 4535s (LG847EA). This enables Thaiphoon Burner to read and reprogram SPD on AMD A60M, A68, A68M, A70M, A75 and A85X chipset based notebook and desktop systems. The utility now displays more information on DDR3 SDRAM LRDIMMs. In accordance with the latest JEDEC DDR3 Spec Release No. 21A the utility retrieves a die count in one SDRAM chip package. SPD Browser has been updated to version and has extended search criteria for LRDIMM and 32GB DIMMs. XMP Enhancer Professional now displays more accurate values for timing delays, expressed in nanoseconds. The Enable Fast Read and Write option is set by default as it is needed only for outdated VIA chipsets like VIA VT82C586 and performs SPD reading two times faster on VIA, Intel and AMD/ATI SM buses.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. The current version features the new SMBus device accessing routine particular both for all Intel SMBus controllers and such SeverWorks chipsets as OSB4, OSB5, OSB6 and HT-1000. The main menu of Thaiphoon Burner window now contains the Edit menu. This menu combines two commands of Product Details and Addressing and Capacity to call appropriate dialogs. The last one is new. The Addressing and Capacity dialog is used to edit certain parameters of the module and employed SDRAM devices. All fundamental parameters like Number of Rows, Number of Columns, SDRAM Banks, SDRAM Width, SDRAM Die Count, Module Ranks can be easily edited though this dialog. Besides, the dialog displays Organization both for SDRAM device and DRAM module in real-time mode. The dialog is available for PC SDRAM, DDR, DDR2, DDR3 and FB-DIMM SPDs. Since the new version Thaiphoon Burner uses only fundamental parameters from SPD to calculate the Module Capacity.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. Thaiphoon Burner has been released. Before accessing SMBus Controller, Thaiphoon Burner performs an extra check for its current status. If the SMBus Controller is hidden in the PCI Device list the program forces the Controller to be enabled. This extra routine is executed for all Intel SMBus Controllers. This helps accessing SPD EPPROM especially on HP notebooks. After changing the SDRAM device parameters through the Addressing and Capacity dialog box Thaiphoon Burner did not update corresponding registers in the HEX Editor. So, this error has been eliminated. Added decoding for some new Module Manufacturer Location IDs.

Thaiphoon Burner has been released. The latest update features numerous minor corrections. First of all, eliminated "Division by zero" error that occurred while creating a new SPD firmware using the HEX Editor. Before starting any SMBus transaction, the program resets some additional status bits of the SMBus controller. This improvement covers all supported Intel SMBus controllers and has been tested on ICH4 to latest PCH I/O hubs. The current status of the SPD CRC is now shown near the SPD checksum value in the report. Improved Part Number decoding for Micron Technology DDR3 SDRAM and DDR2 FB-DIMM modules. All manufacturing location codes of Micron Technology modules are decoded by the program and visible in the report. This has been done for Corsair DDR3 SDRAM modules too. The new update enables Thaiphoon Burner to be run via Windows Remote Desktop. In order not to download the same SPD database file, the SPD Browser checks its size before downloading.
