Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. The key innovation of the latest update is the new HTML template which is used for creating SPD data reports. This is the second version of the HTML template. The first one was introduced in Thaiphoon Burner 1.0 five years ago. For distinguishing purposes all logos and icons of Thaiphoon Burner software have been redesigned. This brings a new look for the software and makes it fresh and attractive. The Part Number decoder of Thaiphoon Burner 7.0 now supports DDR, DDR2, DDR2 FBD and DDR3 SDRAM DIMM modules manufactured by Nanya Technology. Additionally, it meets the latest updates of Samsung and Elixir Part Numbering Guide. JEDEC DDR3 DIMM label is now determined for DDR3-1866 and DDR-2133 parts. XMP Enhancer features minor improvements specific for the timing parameters on the Additional tab. Three turn-around times from XMP timing parameters set Read to Write, Write to Read and Back to Back are decoded to the SPD data report.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. The latest update incorporates SPD Browser 4.0! As you probably remember, SPD Browser 3.0 had a capability of connecting to Microns online SPD database and downloading original SPD firmware. But after Micron Technology had acquired Numonyx, the company changed its website and most of the public links moved to the private category. Besides, Micron did not meet the new SPD Browser truly and removed over 300 SPD images from its database after Thaiphoon Burner had been released. Since that SPD Browser 3.0 was useless for Micron DIMM owners and OEMs. Now the lack is eliminated! The new version of SPD Browser 4.0 downloads the offline database with original Micron SPD firmware from Showshock Softnology website. We are interested in providing the reliable service that will not be interrupted again. So, using SPD Browser 4.0 the user can lookup SPDs both in the common Thaiphoons SPD database and Microns Original SPD Database. For the moment, there are over 500 SPD images in the Micron database.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. This update brings support for three VIA SMBus Controllers of VIA VX900, VIA VX855/VX875 chipsets and VIA VT8261 south bridge. DCT Tuner now supports adjustment for Max Read Latency parameter through the AMD DCT controller.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. The latest update brings support for the official JEDEC Standard No.21-C Page - Appendix E: Specific PDs for Synchronous DRAM (SDRAM). In accordance with the specification Thaiphoon Burner reports several additional timing parameters, such as tIS, tIH, tDS, tDH and tRC that are specific for SPD Revision 1.2 and higher. The full part number decoder for Samsung PC SDRAM DIMMs has been added. It is intended for extracting complete information from part numbers on Samsung PC SDRAM modules. The part number decoder for Samsung DDR2 SDRAM now supports the latest revision of the part numbering system. On the base of some SPD registers Thaiphoon Burner determines PCB revision and SDRAM device generation of Samsung PC SDRAM, DDR SDRAM and DDR2 SDRAM modules.

With the latest release of Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster, Showshock Softnology continues to revolutionize the simplicity of SPD EEPROM programming and opens new extra possibilities for server platforms. New features provide support for two SMBus controllers of all NVIDIA nForce MCP series southbridges. This makes possible to poll and access up to 16 SPD EEPROM devices on the NVIDIA nForce Professional 3600 chipset built servers. Besides, both the source code and graphical user interface of the software have been significantly enhanced to access I2C slave devices connected to both the primary and secondary SM buses. All previous versions of Thaiphoon Burner are not capable of detecting the secondary SMBus controller of the chipset. Since the new version 7.1 Thaiphoon Burner is able to lock the data of the first 128 bytes of SPD EEPROM of DDR2 FB-DIMM modules by enabling the Permanent Software Write Protection feature if available. To reach this idea the PSWP Protection dialog box has been modified. Continuing the good tradition of being the only Windows software for SPD programming purposes, Thaiphoon Burner lets you identify the SPD EEPROM chip featuring the on-die Temperature Sensor. The utility identifies both the vendor and model of the SPD EEPROM chips. Atmel, Microchip, ST, IDT, On Semi are in the vendor supported list of Thaiphoon Burner.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. So, with the latest update it is possible to read and decode data registers of the thermal sensor incorporated into the SPD EEPROM device. Thanks to that Thaiphoon Burner adds addition information on thermal and electrics parameters of SPD EEPROM with TS devices like the current ambient temperature, sensor resolution, sensor accuracy, SMBus timeout and others. As the thermal sensor is integrated mainly into DDR3 SO-DIMM and UDIMM SPD EEPROMs, Thaiphoon Burner decodes the TS content only for DDR3 SDRAM modules if available. Besides, the latest update of the software features the new unified SMBus routine for all supported ALi/ULi SMBus controllers.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. In accordance with the latest Annex K: Serial Presence Detect (SPD) for DDR3 SDRAM Modules specification released by JEDEC in March 2011, significant improvements were made to DDR3 Timing Table Editor and its design. Now the list of standard JEDEC speed bins is enhanced with three additional downbins for DDR3-1333H, DDR3-1600K and DDR3-1866M. In the main menu there is the new Settings menu which is used for SDRAM Page Size and SDRAM Capacity selection. These two parameters affect to the tFAW, tRFC and tRRD automatic timing adjustment when the user adjusts all the timings from the DDR3 Speed Bins combobox. Thaiphoon Burner now shows an additional parameter of SDRAM Page Size in the SPD report. According to the latest JEP106 document, the utility identifies over 20 new manufacturers and vendors. Among them there are new memory module manufacturers like Goldenmars Technology, Ramos Technology, Mach Xtreme Technology.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. The HEX Editor of the software now supports the Hex to ASCII conversion mode. When it is enabled the user is allowed to enter notes, comments, remarks, etc to be written to SPD firmware. Besides, it is very easy to modify OPNs, serial numbers and other SPD information presented in ASCII form. DDR2 Timing Table Editor now features the extra Settings main menu which is used to define value for SDRAM Capacity and SDRAM Page Size parameters. Changing these parameters affects the timing delays of tRFC and tRRD automatically. The tRFC field of XMP Enhancer Professional has been enhanced up 2800 MTB units to support 8Gb SDRAM chips.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. Major improvements have been made to SPD Browser. Since new version 4.1 it enables you to search for SPD firmware extended with Intel XMP profiles within Thaiphoon Burners SPD database. The resulting table lists all SPD firmware with XMP #1 and #2 enabled/disabled profiles and consists of several fields with XMP details such as Revision, Speed Grade, Clock Frequency, VDD, Timing delays and Profile Id. This new feature is very helpful when searching for any specific XMP profile to be flashed to the DIMM module. Besides, on the main search bar of SPD Browser there an extra list box which is used to define a type of the DIMM module UDIMM, SO-DIMM and RDIMM. This helps to find the desired SPD firmware specific for your notebook or server class DIMM module. The new built-in application of DIMM Power Calculator is available within Thaiphoon Burner software. This engineering tool is to provide numerical approximation of the power consumption of DIMM on the base of its technical specification parameters. The new version of Thaiphoon Burner is qualified to be compatible with any Windows PE Edition. This means the utility now runs on Windows XP or 7 loaded from a live CD/DVD or USB drive.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. The current update provides full support for Intel Extreme Memory Profiles 1.3 Specification for DDR3 SDRAM. To meet the latest requirements and changes added to the XMP 1.3 spec the XMP Enhancer Professional has been redesigned. The new GUI organization enables to create both XMP 1.2 and 1.3 compatible profiles. Moreover, switching between the two appropriate options allows automatic profile conversion from one revision to another one. This gives a choice for OEMs when creating XMP profiles they need. All other functions to be dependent on XMP have been modified or improved as well.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. This minor update brings support for the Intel CPT Family SMBus Controller and Panther Point SMBus Controller used as part of Intels Ivy Bridge next generation platform. The new update also supports accessing SPD EEPROM on the Intel EG20T PCH based platforms.

Thaiphoon Burner Super Blaster has been released. The new version of the software features SPD Browser 4.2 with a capability of creating and attaching user-defined databases. The new SPD Browser enables you to build a database from users SPD dumps and to attach it to the list immediately. Another feature of attaching an existing SPD database has an easy implementation too. This makes SPD database sharing easy. Also Thaiphoon Burner has a new routine to access SPD EEPROM and SMBus devices via the ALi1533/1535 SMBus controller. According to the latest JEDEC JEP106 document Thaiphoon Burner supports the new manufacturers IDs list. The SPD Data Write box now correctly initializes available SPD EEPROM device address for NVIDIA MCP79/MCP89 based systems.
