Thaiphoon Burner 6.0.4.0 is available for downloading! We are continuing our efforts for making our Thaiphoon better and more reliable solution to work with SPD ever! The new features and enhancements introduced by this new version are the following: Intel XMP 1.1 specification has been supported, the Module Features panel has a customizable background image, advert banners in SPD reports have been removed from registered version. Thaiphoon Burner 6.04 features the new XMP decoding routines and creates more detailed XMP reports comparing to previous versions. Like EPP reports, XMP reports now contain a link to switch between nanoseconds and MEMClocks.

Showshock Softnology is pleased to announce the final release of Thaiphoon Burner 6.1.0.0. The key features of the latest version are new XMP Enhancer and new Timing Table Editor designed for DDR3 separately. The XMP Enhancer now fully supports the final Intel XMP Specification Revision 1.1! Using XMP Enhancer you can easily create and edit XMP profiles of any revision! Besides, it automatically updates the current XMP profiles to the latest revision 1.1. As to the Timing Table Editor, now it performs automatic adjustment of all timings in accordance with JEDEC DDR3 standard requirements. It enables user to adjust timings in SPD manually too.

Thaiphoon Burner 6.2.0.0 Super Blaster has been released! This version of the utility features the new color scheme. We have almost refused an orange color and replaced it with a blue color set. The new look of Thaiphoon Burner is now stricter and sharper. Another addition is an ability to extract dumps from our commercial database! Now it is absolutely free for our customers! It is possible to save to file any SPD dump they need! Thaiphoon Burner also provides extracting SPD dumps and instant dump opening in the Hex Editor! Minor improvements have been applied to the dialog boxes.

Thaiphoon Burner 6.2.1.0 Super Blaster has been released! This new compilation is based on numerous improvements in DDR3 SPD data decoding. Now the utility reports JEDEC’s DDR3 memory speed grade, SDRAM device package, new thermal characteristics, etc. Since the new version Thaiphoon Burner is compatible with DDR3 Registered DIMMs with an information capacity of higher than 4GB. To check this feature the Hyundai (Hynix) HMT31GR7AMP4C-G7D1 SPD dump can be used. This exclusive dump is now in the Thaiphoon Burner’s SPD database! The most significant addition provided in version 6.2.1.0 is a Part Number decoding for Hynix and Samsung DDR2 and DDR3 memory modules. Thanks to this new feature it is now possible to retrieve FBGA Package, Die Generation, Module Revision, Module Speed Grade defined by the manufacturer and some other characteristics of the module. Thaiphoon Burner 6.4.0.0 Super Blaster has been released! Thanks to one from our partners the new version brings support for NVIDIA Enhanced Performance Profiles 2.0. Now, using EPP2.0 Enhancer introduced in Thaiphoon Burner 6.4 you can easily integrate EPP 2.0 profiles into non-EPP 2.0 DDR3 memory modules. It is the powerful and simple to use tool that provides all necessary options to create, modify, convert and remove EPP2.0 profiles. In accordance with the NVIDIA EPP2.0 Specification it is possible to integrate up to 3 basic profiles or up to 2 full profiles needed to take advantage of full DDR3 memory performance on platforms based on the NVIDIA nForce 790 Ultra and higher chipsets. Besides, after decoding of EPP2.0 profiles Thaiphoon Burner adds extra information on profiles to the report. So, this makes Thaiphoon Burner the only tool on the market to work with EPP2.0. New Thaiphoon Burner 6.4.0.1 Super Blaster is available. This update removes an error when setting CAS Latency of 6T to the DDR2 SPD image. SPD Browser now restores the previous search context. To customize a background image for the Information Bar which is to the right of the main window the new picture has to be placed to the root folder of Thaiphoon Burner. The THPConfig.ini configuration file must be edited accordingly. A new default background image for the Information Bar is used.

Thaiphoon Burner 6.5.0.1 Super Blaster has been released! The most significant addition to the current release is a full support of the last Intel XMP Specification Revision 1.2. Due to that feature XMP Enhancer Pro produces XMP profiles in accordance with the latest specification. The XMP Enhancer also applies automatic profile data conversion to XMP profiles with early revisions. SPD reading on FB-DIMMs has been improved to read up to 32 modules. SMBus controller of the Intel Platform Controller Hub (PCH) has been supported for SPD data accessing. SPD Browser 3.0 now perfectly decodes recently unknown part numbers of Micron memory modules.

Thaiphoon Burner 6.6.0.0 SuperB! Edition has been released! The new version is based on numerous improvements and minor bug fixes. The main innovation feature of the current version is conversion of Intel XMP profiles to the NVIDIA EPP2.0 data format. This makes Thaiphoon Burner to be the only software for now! XMP Enhancer Professional can convert any XMP profile to the NVIDIA EPP2.0 Full Format profile. Another good addition to the XMP Enhancer Pro is to import XMP profiles from and export to files. When using the XMP profile import feature the selected profile is copied to the XMP Templates folder automatically. Also, DDR3 Timing Table Editor now includes a profiles control feature. It works in the same manner as in XMP Enhancer Professional. This enables to update memory timings at once in a couple of clicks without the need to set them manually. User can store an unlimited number of profiles for timing sets. With the help of this feature it is very easy to move timings from SPD to SPD indeed. With regard to EPP2.0 Enhancer, it has been significantly improved as well. First of all, it also provides an ability to save and load EPP2.0 profiles from files. Besides, EPP2.0 Enhancer now reports timings both in nanoseconds and MEM Clocks. Also we have improved part number string decoding since it might not return a part number of the memory module for some reason. In accordance with the latest DDR2 SPD Specification Rev.1.3 new DDR2 DIMM types, such as SO-CDIMM, SO-RDIMM, Mini-UDIMM, etc are determined and shown in the Module Features Summary Panel. Despite Thaiphoon Burner is not digitally signed to be compatible with Windows 7 and Vista 64-bit Edition, the new version can be fully used if UAC is disabled and the Test Signing Mode is turned on. Also, Thaiphoon Burner successfully runs on Windows 7 and Vista, but SPD read and write features are disabled in this case.
